Nice-looking, but poorly designed

The good: It's a nice-looking mug tumbler that also nicely fits in the cup-holders of a W204-body Mercedes-Benz. Presenting the cup as a gift to MB enthusiasts will make them happy (at least for a day or two). However, I wouldn't want it for myself, and here is why:

The bad: The MB logo on the black plastic is just a paint that can be scratched off during use. At this price, I would expect the logo to be engraved or embossed or made more indescrutable and permanent in some way else.

The ugly: The lid is not a screw-on! This means that if you fill the mug with liquid and shake it or accidentally overturn it, the lid will open and the mug's contents will spill. Yes, the lid does not fit that tight to hold the weight of the liquid, if the mug is up side down! (now imagine what might happen if the contents is boiling-hot; BTW, hot contents only softens the rubber seal of the lid thus making it even looser; so, beware!). The sliding plastic thing that covers the drinking hole on the lid is very loose and is not spill-proof. The metal rim on the lid fell apart after the 5th use of the mug. Get some Super-Glue together with this mug (which is a general advice for any product labelled "Made in China", such as this one).

Good Benzo treat

I bought it for my hub, who has a Benzo. He loves his matching cup.
It is stainless inside and out, very durable. Though there is a shiny surface- it is scratch-resistance. The only con that i'd mention is the absence of a handle. But i guess MB had to compromise it for the sleak design. Good buy.
