1Not what I expected
By Lynn F
I bought this because I had seen one just like it, and thought my son, a photographer would like it. The one I saw was really well made, and all the little knobs, and buttons worked. The one I received looks very cheap, and plastic-y, despite being the most expensive one available!
I also wish I'd known that it was shipping from overseas--I ordered with about fifteen days in hand, and it arrived in about 20. I would never order from this company again.
In addition, after posting this review, I received an angry phonecall from the seller insisting I change the review. Despite my telling him I could not change it, and quietly asking him not to contact me again, he immediately called me back to harass me again!

1Appearance is too cool, but functionality sucks
By Leonel Aguilar
The appearance of this product is as on the pictures, really cool and really resembles a real lens. But the main functionality that is to hold the coffee fails to deliver. It has no seal to prevent the coffee from dripping out and therefore the first time I used it I spilled coffee all over my suit. Thought that it was my fault for not closing it right but still it didn't work. Maybe is the one I got, so I spoke to seller and they offered to resend it. They resent it to a place I was going to be for business and they missed my 9 days being there even though they said they sent it earlier. So I'm still with my first defective mug.

4Cool but limited function
By Taylor
I do enjoy owning this for the novelty in and of itself! However I ONLY use it at home on occasion. One for taking extra ice up stairs for a already made drink in a longer lasting mug, that has a lid you CAN drink out of! Now this statement tells both reasons it is limited...does not hold ice as long as my stainless steels from Starbucks, worth EVERY PENNY (I have come to own 9 ), but it DOES do better w ice than MAJORITY of other mugs, by the way warmth is not much different compared to Starbucks coffee mugs w double wall steel... And quite frankly who drinks from a glass/mug without the lid allowed to stay on to do so, unless at home. So like I said it has limits. However for around the house it's fine! And YES people do fall for it being a lens which is cool laugh for a few mins each time a friend lays eyes on it.

I also own the smaller black lens cup. Same exact issues, but an additional thing to share pls NOTE DO NOT WASH IN DISHWASHER!!! I did the blk one when first used it and the inner stainless steel part is no longer glued to the inner casing, meaning the steel insert rotates inside. Still functional, but frankly awkward and a bit annoying...no recall of a warning!

The smaller blk one WILL fit under our kerig coffee maker, both special edition and my other one at my office. You do have to pull the cup stand out to get this to wrk, but that's a since! HOWEVER this one DOES NOT FIT UNDER KERIG TOO TALL, YOU CAN MAKE COFFEE IN ANOTHER CUP AND THEN POUR INTO THIS, put lid on and go to office or wherever, but I would only use to transport a drink, not to drink in a vehicle, due to the top issue being completely sealed and no drinking threw it.

YES I gave it 4 stars! Why ? Because it really is well made outside of dishwasher issues, and you CAN drink from it, in office or home, AND it is spot on great to mess w your family and friends. No it's not top quality for cold or even warm, but then it does fine for around two hrs, I am just used to 10 hrs lol, so personally picky does not warrant me really dinging this!

Depending on why you buy it we could actually give it a 5. I have indeed recommended to friends! The black is my favorite, but the L lens is snazzy and cool in its own way. Hope this helps ...I don't leave feedback often, but because of the objectivity I felt it might help others on how to decide for themselves based on what the individual wants it for.
